St. Jude Nantawawula Primary School

In our continuous effort to improve the infrastructure and resources of local schools, we are proud to announce the completion of a rainwater harvesting tank at St. Jude Nantawawula Primary School. This initiative is a significant milestone in ensuring sustainable water access for the school community.

The newly constructed rainwater harvesting tank will provide a reliable source of clean water, especially during dry seasons. This system collects and stores rainwater, making it available for various uses such as drinking, cooking, and sanitation. By harnessing natural rainfall, the school can reduce its dependency on external water sources and mitigate the challenges associated with water scarcity.

This project not only addresses immediate water needs but also promotes environmental sustainability and resource conservation. The availability of clean water on-site will enhance the overall learning environment, contributing to better health and hygiene among students and staff. It will also reduce the time and effort previously spent fetching water from distant sources, allowing students to focus more on their studies and extracurricular activities.

The success of this project is a testament to the collaborative efforts of the Rotary Club of Ntinda, the school administration, and the local community. Together, we have created a lasting impact that will benefit St. Jude Nantawawula Primary School for years to come. This initiative aligns with our commitment to improving educational facilities and fostering a sustainable future for our communities.

We extend our gratitude to all the stakeholders involved in this project for their dedication and support. As we continue to undertake such meaningful initiatives, we look forward to more opportunities to make a positive difference in the lives of students and the broader community
